SKI BOOTFITTER

BootDoctors ski shop is looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and responsible ski bootfitters who share the love and stoke for the outdoors. Responsibilities include custom fitting a ski boot, such as building a custom footbed, manipulating the plastic of a ski boot, and repairing/replacing any parts on a ski boot. A basic understanding of bio-mechanics would be helpful but not mandatory.

In addition, contributing to the team as a motivated sales force in sharing the knowledge and passion of the outdoors. Our sales team is required to implement effective sales techniques and precise product knowledge to provide the best personalized experience and maximize sales. We are looking for individuals who can execute those skills to maintain the culture, reputation, and positive stoke factor of a top-level ski shop. Customer service and retail experience is encouraged.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written. Must have the ability to work with tools. Must be able to problem-solve and think outside the box. This seasonal position will start the week of November 12th and terminate the second week of April with an opportunity for a summer position. Employee benefits include a season ski pass, and pro order opportunities.

SALARY: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour

SKI RENTAL TECHNICIAN

Seasonal Full and Part-Time Availability

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for assisting our customers with the proper fitting of ski and / or snowboard equipment while continuing to provide best-in-class guest service.

JOB RESPONSIBILIES:

• Fit boots, skis, snowboards and/or poles to guest satisfaction
• Adjust ski / snowboard bindings to proper specifications per ASTM standards
• Demonstrate and maintain the high standard of guest service
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends
• Maintain merchandising of product lines and store cleanliness standards
• Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of company cash handling policies and procedures
• Be on-time for your scheduled work-shift, with proper and clean appearance
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
• Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task
• Operate at the highest standards of safety
• Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company

REPAIR TECHNICIAN

This position is responsible for exceptional ski and snowboard tuning and repair to ensure the best-in-class guest service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists customers by developing confidence and trust from the guest through accurate information and exceptional service results
• Accurately identify when a ski or snowboard requires a tune, and be able to recommend the type of service that best meets the needs of the guest and their equipment
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all product and service levels and industry trends
• Sharpen, wax and drill equipment as necessary
• Ensure that pricing is correct and current with any promotions advertised
• Maintain shop cleanliness standards
• Operate at the highest standards of safety
• Monitor inventory
• Maintain working knowledge of products and trends within the snowsport industry
• Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company
